Lord Brahma witnesses the all-pervading, universal consciousness form of Sri Krishna

Sri Narada says:- Sri Krishna not finding the calves comes to the banks of the Yamuna, but He could not find the Gopa boys also. While searching for the calves and the boys He thought 'This is the work of Sri Brahma'. Thereafter, The Creator of the entire universe, Sri Krishna, to please all the cows and Gopis decided to divide Himself into two parts, by His divine leela. He remained Himself in one part and with the other part, He created the entire calves and cowherd boys. All the bodies were the same as the original calves and boys. Their bodies were the same with similar hands and legs, canes, horns, dispositions, and characteristics. They all had the same dresses and the same jewelry. Lord Sri Hari, by creating all these things by a part of Himself showed that the entire universe is full of Vishnu. Sri Krishna, Himself acted in the form of cowherd boys grazed all the calves and at sunset returned to the home of Nand. He took the calves to their respective cow sheds and went to the respective homes of the Gopa boys, in their original forms and entered their homes like any other usual day. The Gopis on hearing the sound of flutes got up quickly and with love started feeding milk to their respective boys. The cows also seeing their calves coming near started feeding them. Aha! all Gopis and cows became SriHari's mothers. The affection between the Gopa boys and the calves grew fourfold. Gopis scrubbed and bathed the boys with great love. Then they came to see Sri Krishna.

After this many of the boys were married. The brides began loving the boys who were Sri Krishna himself in the form of the Gopa boys. This way almost one year passed. One day, about five to six days shy of the one year mark of the abduction of the calves and the cowherd boys by Sri Brahma, Sri Balaram reached the forest and observed the strange scene. There he saw the cows were grazing on the peak of a hill in the forest. He observed that the cows, which saw their calves eating grass, from a distance, went near their calves and started to lick them and feed them milk which was equivalent to nectar. When the Gopas saw that the cows had stopped at the foothill of Govardhan and were feeding their calves with love, they descended from the hill with extreme anger to punish their sons and reached the spot. But when they neared their boys, they were overcome with love and lifted the boys in their arms. The young and older Gopas shed tears of love for their respective boys and sat there with them.

When Balaram saw the Gopas absorbed in such great love, he got suspicious. He started thinking mentally 'Aha! Generally, what has happened in the past year in Vraj, I am unable to know. Day by day love is growing more and more in everyone's heart. Is this the magic of Gods, Demigods, or the Demons? Now I understand that this is nothing but the Maya of Sri Krishna, which deludes even me'. Thinking like this, Sri Balaram closed his eyes and with divine power saw the past, present, and future. Sri Balaram saw the calves and dark-colored playful boys with flutes, wearing peacock feathers, clusters of gems, and garlands of roses, lily flowers, and lotuses. They were also shining with crowns, ear drops, and curly hair. All of them had eyes, which looked like lotuses bloomed in Sharat Ritu (autumn season), which gave the pleasure of seeing a crore Kamadevas adorned with ornaments in his hair, wearing jewelry on both hands, wearing a yellow colored dress, wearing a girdle and anklets, all the boys were shining with the brightness of a crore early morning Suns. To the north of Govardhan and south of Yamuna, Sri Balaram saw the whole of Vrindavan was full of Sri Krishna.

Balaram knew that this was the work of Sri Brahma and Sri Krishna. He once again came near the calves and cowherd boys and looking at them told Sri Krishna 'Brahma, Anant, Dharm, Indra, and Shankar always serve You with devotion. You are Atmaaraam, Poornakaam God of Gods. You are capable of creating crores of universes with nothing'

Sri Narada says:- At the time when Sri Balaram was telling SriKrishna this, Sri Brahma came there and thought 'Oho! Sri Krishna has brought the Gopa boys from where I had kept them' Saying this He went to the place where he had kept them and found that the boys were there, just as he had left them. Sri Brahma seeing them asleep came back to Vraj and was amazed to see the Gopa boys with Sri Krishna and said to himself 'How bizarre this is! How did these boys come here and are playing with Sri Krishna as usual? It took me just a moment to do this act, But one year has already passed on this earth. Even then, everyone is happy, probably no one has come to know about this incident'. In this way, he tried to delude the timeless Vishwamohan Sri Krishna. But in the darkness of his Maya, he could not even see his own body. But the abduction of the Gopa boys did not affect the Lord of the universe in any manner but Sri Brahma in front of Sri Krishna, looked like a mere glow-worm in front of the Sun. Seeing Brahma being deluded and rooted, Sri Krishna out compassion dislodged His Maya showed Brahma His real Form. By his revernce, SriBrahma got the realization and could see Sri Krishna in all the Gopa Boys and calves at once. King! Sri Brahma could see within his body and outside, the whole world including himself was full of Sri Krishna.

Having got this darshan Sri Brahma being inert became dormant. Seeing Sri Brahma in this condition and knowing that he is unable to see the glory of the Bhagawan in Vrindavan, Sri Hari lifted the curtain of His Maya. Then SriBrahma got his sight back and got up as if awakening from sleep and opened his eyes with great difficulty and was able to see Vrindavan and himself. Then he concentrated and looked in all ten directions. He saw the picturesque Vrindavan with all its beautiful creepers. There, tiger cubs were playing with cubs of other animals. There was no enmity between an eagle and a pigeon, a mongoose and a snake. Sri Brahma saw Sri Krishna alone, carrying a food packet in his hand, searching for the lovely calves in Vrindavan. Sri Brahma realized that The Lord of Golok Sri Hari Himself had disguised in the form of a cowherd boy. After recognizing this, Sri Brahma remembered his handiwork and was scared. King! To please SriKrishna who was shining on all four sides, Sri Brahma got down from his vehicle and being ashamed stood before Sri Krishna with bowed head. Sri Brahma went near Sri Krishna with folded hands saying " Be pleased ". Like this, giving 'arghya' (ritual of washing the feet) to Bhagawan with the tears of joy flowing from his eyes, he prostrated in front of Sri Krishna, as if atoning for his deeds. Sri Krishna lifted SriBrahma and pacified him and touched him as if one touches a loved person. After that Sri Krishna, with reforming eyes looked at the Devatas who were standing at a distance. Then all Devatas hailed Him in loud voices and praised Him and paid obeisances to the Lord. By getting a compassionate look from Sri Krishna, all of them felt very happy and all were filled with regards for Him. Sri Brahma seeing Bhagawan at that place, with a heart full of devotion paid salutations with folded hands and being thrilled fell at the Lord's feet. Again he praised Bhagawan in a choked voice.
