Maidens of Ayodhya appear as the daughters of KingVimal; To arrange for their marriage; King Vimal sends his messenger to look for Sri Krishna; Upon not finding Sri Krishna, the king consults with Sri Bheeshma and leanrs the secret of the Lord's Avatar; Once again the king sends his messenger to Krishna

Sri Narada says:- King! When sage Yagnavalkya told this and departed, then lord of Champaka town, King Vimal felt very happy. Girls of Ayodhya, who were earlier blessed by Sri Rama were born as daughters of the queens of King Vimal. All those princesses were very beautiful. Seeing them being eligible for marriage the king was worried. Remembering the words of Sri Yagnavalkya, he told his emissary thus

Vimal said:- Emissary! You go to Mathura and go near the beautiful house of the great son Vasudeva and see. Vasudeva's son will be there. He will have a symbol of Srivatsa on his chest, his complexion will be dark like clouds, he will be adorning a Vanamala and he will have four shoulders. If these are all there, then I will give away all my beautiful daughters to him.

Sri Barada says:- King Listening to the words of King Vimal, that messenger went to Mathura and asked the elderly people his intended question. Hearing his words the intelligent people who were afraid of Kamsa, took that messenger to a lonely place and whispered in his ears

People of Mathura said:- Many sons that Vasudeva had, all of them were killed by Kamsa. Only one baby girl was saved, but she also flew away into the sky. Vasudeva lives here, but he is very sad at the loss of his sons. Do not tell what you told these people anywhere else as there is a great fear of Kamsa in this town. Whoever talks about Vasudeva's sons will be severely punished by the enemy of his eighth son.

Sri Narada says:- Listening to ordinary people of Mathura, the messenger returned to Champaka town. Going there he narrated the amazing information to the king.

Messenger Said:- King! In Mathura, the valiant Vasudeva certainly resides, but being childless lives like a very poor man. I heard that he had many sons earlier who were all killed by Kamsa. Only one girl survived, but she escaped from Kamsa's hands and flew away into the sky. After listening to this news, I slowly came out of Yadupuri. In a bush of creepers, by chance, I saw a child. King! there was no other boy like him amidst other Gopa boys, who had characteristics equal to his. On the chest of that boy the symbol of Srivatsa. The complexion of his body was dark like that of the clouds and was wearing a Vanamala. But the difference is only the fact that the boy had only two shoulders, but you had said that the son of Vasudeva would have four shoulders. King! Now tell me what is to be done, because the words of the sage can never be false. Lord! You please send me where ever you wish and in whichever manner you want.

Sri Narada says:- King! When king Vimal was aghast and was thinking about what to do, at that time Bhishma came there to conquer Sindhudesh.

Vimal said:- Most Learned Sri Bhishma! Earlier Sri Yagnavalkya told me that Lord Sri Hari will appear from the womb of Vasudeva's wife Devaki, there is no doubt about this. But at this time the appearance of the Supreme Lord Sri Hari has not taken place in the house of Vasudeva. Also, the words of the sage can not be false, hence to whom can I give away my daughters? You are indeed great my Lord, and you are the best in knowing the past and future. Since your youth, you have won the control over your senses. You are heroic, great in archery and you are the best Vasu(wealth givers). Hence please tell me what I need to do.

Sri Narada says:- Son of Ganga Sri Bhishma was a great devotee of Bhagawan, learned, had great divine sight, an expert in the knowledge of piousness, and knew the greatness of Sri Krishna. He told Vimal thus

Sri Bhishma said:- King! This is a secret that I have heard directly from Sri Vedavyasa. This topic will clear away all sins. It is saintly, and will provide happiness, listen to this. The Ultimate Bhagawan Sri Hari, to safeguard all Devatas and to slay demons has appeared in the house of Vasudeva. But at midnight Vasudeva, being scared of Kamsa, took away that boy immediately to Gokul and there, put his son to sleep on the cot of Yashoda and carried Nand's daughter, Maya, and returned to Mathura. In this manner Sri Krishna grew up secretly in Gokul, no other humans know about this fact. The same Sri Hari, in the guise of Gopal, will live secretly in Vrindavan for eleven years. Then, after slaying the demon, Kamsa will manifest Himself. The women of Ayodhya who have got the form of Gopikas by the grace of Sri Ramachandra are all born as daughters to your queens. You certainly give away your daughters to that Sri Krishna who is present there secretly. Do not delay this matter as your body is under the control of Kaal.

Saying this, when the all-knowing SriBhishma left for Hastinapur, king Vimal sent his Messenger to the son of Nand.
