Sri Garga said:- Shaunak! This way I described the beautiful history of Sri Krishna. All the humans who listen to this with devotion are very fortunate and will be blessed, without any doubt.

Shaunak said:- Sage! The ecstatic history of Sri Krishna is like a story that is as sweet as honey. I am very grateful for having listened to this from your great self. Oh, Embodiment of penance! The great king of saints Bahulashwa was a truly great devotee of Sri Krishna. He is always peaceful. After this, what did he ask sage Narada, please be kind to tell me!

Garga said:- Shaunak! Thereafter, king of Mithila, Bhulashwa became fervent with happiness and eagerness. Then that kind-hearted king asked Narada thus.

King Bahulashwa said:- Sage! You have done many saintly deeds. Being in touch with you, I have become very satisfied and grateful, because getting the company of the Lord's true devotees is very rare and unattainable. Sage! what other great deeds did Sri Krishna do in his childhood? Please tell me about them.

Narada says:- King! you are a complete devotee of Sri Krishna, you have asked a very good question. Truly the company of sages will enhance the welfare of all. On a day, which was the birth star day of Lord Sri Krishna, queen of Nanda, Yashoda invited Gopas and Gopis to her house and as per the instructions of Brahmins, performed poojas (rituals). The dark-colored Sri Krishna was dressed in a red-colored dress and adorned with all jewelry. She put chandrahar(necklace)around his neck. After paying oblations to all the Gods, she offered many gifts to the Brahmins. Afterward, Yashoda fed her baby and put him to sleep in his cradle; and then she welcomed and greeted all the Gopis individually. Many Gopis were coming and going in her house. Being busy in attending to them, she could not hear her son crying. At that very moment a demon by name Utkach, who was sent by Kamsa came there. He made himself invisible and hid on the attic where heavy pots of curds and milk were stored. The demon flung the heavy pot on the head of the baby, but Sri Krishna kicked the pot with his legs and rebounded on the demon himself who died by falling down. In this condition, he came out of invisibility and had a clean beautiful body. After prostrating before Sri Krishna, he climbed on to a chariot, which had horses and flew away to the Lord's original abode, Golok Dham. All the Gopis came there together and asked the boys of Vraj "How did the pot fall and how did it get into this condition. If you know please tell us".

The Boys said:- The boy, who was sleeping in the cradle was crying for milk and was shaking his feet which touched the pot and it fell. Gopis did not believe what the boys told. They thought "How could a three-month baby topple suvh a heavy pot?" Yashoda doubted that, some bad planetary influence might have affected the baby. Hence she took the baby in her arms and asked the Brahmins to perform rituals to ward off any evil influence on the boy. She rewarded them very well.

Bahulashwa asked:- Great saint! what holy deed this demon had done, due to which he could attain moksha by the touch of the Lord's feet.

Sri Narada said:- King of Mithila! Uthkach, in his previous birth, was the son of Hiranyaksha. One day he went to the ashram of saint Lomash. Uthkach had a huge body and with all his might he destroyed all the trees in the ashram. The Brahmin saint was angered very much and cursed 'you wicked being, you shall become invisible'. Uthkach fell on the earth just like a snakes skin which is discarded by the snake. At this, the demon fell at the feet of the saint and pleaded thus.

Uthkach said:- Saint! You are an ocean of kindness. Have mercy on me. I did not realize your greatness. Please give me back my original form.

Sri Narada says:- King! After this, the saint was pleased. He had seen one hundred Brahmas in his lifetime. What more is there to tell about such great saints, whose anger also turns into a boon?

Sri Lomash says:- For many Manvantaras(ages) your body will not be visible. After that, the era of Vaivasvata Manu will come. At that time, at the end of twenty-eighth Dwapara yuga, you will attain moksha by the touch of Sri Krisna's feet.

Sri Narada says:- King! by this great boon of Sri Lomash, demon Uthkach became a resident of Lord's great abode. My salutations to those great saints who can not only curse but also give boons. King! one day the child Sri Krishna was playing on the lap of Yashoda and she was cuddling Him. In a little while, the boy began to weigh like a mountain, and Yashoda was surprised and could not bear the weight any longer. Hence she put the boy on the ground to play by himself. She was wondering how the boy became so heavy all of a sudden but she did not tell anyone about this. At that very moment, demon Trinavart, who was sent by Kamsa, came there in the form of a tornado and carried Sri Krishna away in the sky. At that time, there was so much dust in Gokul that the whole place became dark. Not finding Krishna in the courtyard of Nanda's mansion, Yashoda became very scared. She looked up at the top of the mansion, which was shaking fiercely. When she could not find her son anywhere; and she fainted and fell on the ground. When she regained consciousness, she wept like a cow whining upon the death of its calf. All the Gopis also started searching for the boy everywhere. All of them were weeping bitterly. In the meanwhile, Trinavarth had reached a great distance in the sky. The boy, Sri Krishna started weighing as heavy as the Sumeru mountain itself on the shoulders of the demon and he could not bear the weight anymore and tried to throw down Sri Krishna. Knowing this, the complete(paripoorna) Lord caught hold of the neck of the demon. The demon started screaming "let me go, let me go", but the lord pressed his neck even harder and as a result, he died. At that time, brightness emerged from the lord like lightning comes out of dark clouds. After that, the demon fell on a rock along with the Lord Sri Krishna. As soon as the demon's body hit the rock it went to pieces. When the demon's body hit the ground, the whole world shook and echoed the noise. The Gopis seeing the boy sitting on the demon immediately went and picked him up and gave him to Yashoda and told her thus.

Gopis said:- Yashoda! you cannot take good care of your boy. You feel bad when we tell you this, but this is the truth. Tell us if any mother will leave the child on his own in such darkness. You are so cruel that you put the baby on the ground in such a scary situation.

Yashoda said:- Sisters! I can not understand how my son became so heavy like a mountain, that is why I put him on the ground when the tornado came.

Gopis said:- Leave it, do not tell a lie. There is no feeling of kindness in your heart. This baby who still drinks your milk is as light as a flower and cotton.

Sri Narada says:- When Sri Krishna came back home, Nand, Gopas and Gopis felt very happy. Yashoda carried Sri Krishna away and fed him milk again and again. She hid him under her clothing and held Him close to her bosom very lovingly and said to Rohini.

Yashoda said:- Sister! God has blessed me with only one child and I do not have many children. Many dangers come to him every moment. Today he escaped from the jaws of death. What can be crueler than this? Where can I go and arrange to live elsewhere? The safety of my son is more precious to me than riches, mansions, body, and all kinds of precious gems. If my son wins over all these dangers, I offer Prayers Lord Sri Hari, I will give a lot of donations and perform all rituals and construct many temples. Dear Rohini, just as a cane is the only support for the blind, my only happiness is this child. Hence, sister, I will take this child to such a place where there is no fear.

Sri Narada says:- King! at that time many scholarly Brahmins came there and were seated on good seats. Yashoda offered prayers to all of them.

The great Brahmins said :- King of Vraj, Nanda and Queen Yashoda! do not worry, we will protect this child with a Kavach, and with that, he will live for a long time.

Sri Narada says:- King! Those great Brahmins recited sharp new mantras. With holy pots filled with pure water, they chanted Rig Veda, Yajur Veda, and Sama Veda. They recited mantras

that invoke fire (Agni deva) and performed poojas that protected Sri Krishna from all evils.

Brahmins said:- God Damodar will protect your feet, Vishtashrav-your knees, Sri Vishnu your thighs. The complete Lord Sri Krishna Himself will protect your navel. God Radhavallabh will protect your waist and Peetmbaradhari( one who wears yellow dress) will protect your stomach. Lord Padmanabha will protect your chest,

Govardanadhari will protect your shoulders. Lord of Mathura will protect your face and Dwarakanath will protect your head. The Lord who slays asuras will protect your back and lord Govind will protect you from all directions. All those humans who recite this sloka which has three verses regularly will get all happiness and he will not have to experience fear anywhere.

Sri Narada says:- After that King Nanda gave the Brahmanas one lakh cows, ten lakh gold coins, one thousand new precious pearls, and one lakh wonderful vastras(clothes).

After the Brahmanas left, Nanda invited all Gopas and Gopis and fed them well, gave them gifts, and honored all of them.

Bahulashwa asked:-Sage! who was Trinavart in his previous birth?

What good deed did he do to be fortunate to merge with Supreme Baghawan Sri Krishna?

Sri Narada said:- King! in Pandudesh, there was a famous king named Sahsraksha. His fame was spread all over. He was very devoted to Lord Vishnu. He had great moral values. He was very pious and generous. One day he went to the banks of river Narmada. Creepers and trees were enhancing the beauty of the river. There, he was moving around happily with thousands of women. At that time sage, Durvasa came there. The king did not pay his respects to the sage. Hence the sage cursed saying ' Bad-mannered man you become a rakshas(demon)' Immediately the king fell at the sage's feet. Then the saged blessed him saying 'King! by the touch of Sri Krishna you will be released from the curse'

Sri Narada says:- King! the same king Sahasraksh became the demon named Trinavart. By the touch of Lord Sri Krishna, he got moksha and went to Glokdham.
