The account of the Gopis from Ayodhya; the worry of King Vimal about being childless, and assurance of Sage Yagyavalkya to the king that he would beget many daughters

Sri Narada says:- King! Now listen to the description of the episode of the Gopikas who lived in Ayodhya, which is a means of attaining all the four Purusharthas and also the means of attaining Sri Krishna himself.

Lord of Mithila! In Sindhudesh, there was a famous city called Champaka, where a devoted king named Vimal was lived. He had a treasury equal to that of Kubera and had a heart like that of a lion. He was a devotee of Bhagawan Vishnu and was a peaceful great soul. Because of his unfaltering devotion, he was idolizing Prahlad. That king had six thousand queens. They were all very beautiful and were lotus-eyed, but by misfortune, all of them became childless. "By which pious deed, can I get children?' Thinking thus the king Vimal spent many years.

One day sage Yagnavalkya came to his place. The king prostrated before the sage and worshipped him as per proper rituals and stood in front of him respectfully. Observing the King's worried look, the all-knowing, all-inclusive, and epitome of kindness, sage Yagnavalkya asked thus.

Yagnavalkya said:- King! Why have you become so weak? What sorrow has filled your heart? At this time, your kingdom is looking prosperous in all the seven parts?

Vimal said:- Brahman! What is there that is unknown to you by your penance and divine sight? Even then, respecting your order, I am telling my misfortune to you. I am troubled by my childlessness. What penance should I do and what donation should I give, by which I will be blessed with children.

Sri Narada says:- Listening to the words of Vimal, sage Yagnavalkya closed his eyes and meditated. The great sage, thinking about the past and future, meditated for a long period of time.

Yagnavalkya said:- King! In this birth, you do not have the fortune of begetting a son. You will be blessed with crores of daughters.

King said:- God of sages! Without a son, no one on this earth can be free of obligations to their ancestors. There will always be sorrow in a house without a son. He will never get any happiness in this world or the other world.

Yagnavalkya said:- King! Do not regret it. In the future, the incarnation of Bhagawan Sri Krishna is going to occur. You give away all your daughters to Him along with dowry. By the same deed, you will free yourself from your obligations to Devatas, Sages, and your ancestors and you will attain salvation(moksha).

Sri Narada says:- Listening to the great sage the King was very happy at that time. He again asked the great sage Yagnavalkya about his doubt.

King said:- Lord of sages! After how many years, in which country and in which caste will the real Sri Hari will appear? At that time what will be His form and color?

Yagnavalkya said:- One with vast arms! In the remaining years of this Dwapara yuga, in the same period after one hundred and fifteen years of your ruling is completed, at Mathura in Yadavapuri, in Yadava caste, in the month of Bhadrapada, during Krishnapaksha, on a Wednesday, under Rohini star, Harshana yoga, Vrushalagna, Vavakarana, and Ashtami thithi, at the time of midnight and at moonrise, when everything will be engulfed in darkness, in the house of Vasudeva, from the womb of Devaki, the appearance of Sri Hari will take place, just like fire appears at the time of oblation. There will be the emblem of Srivatsa on Bhagwan's chest. The color of His body will be dark like clouds. He will be decorated with Vanamala and will be extremely handsome. Wearing a yellow colored cloth, with lotus-like eyes and at the time of birth, He will have four shoulders. You offer your daughters to Him. You still have a long life. You will be alive till then, there is no doubt this
